Thanksgiving Day!

Lacey is 7 months old now. As much as I would love taking the pictures with the paper next to her that tells her age....she eats them now. I have resorted to just taking pictures and then using photoshop to add her age. Yesterday was her first Thanksgiving and she loved it. She loved all the family attention and all of the food. We fed her real sweet potatoes and mashed potatoes.

We are so thankful to our Heavenly Father who has blessed us with such a wonderful child. She hardly cries, smiles nearly all her waking hours and loves to play. I am so blessed to be her mother and to be able to raise her. Bottom line, I love her!

Daddy's heart melts for Lacey. She sees him and she gets so excited, even claps when he comes home from work. She is just amazing and we cannot get enough of her. Happy First Thanksgiving Lacey Brown and Happpy 7 months!

6 Months!

Lacey is officially half a year! She is grown so much and time has just flown by. Taking the pictures was really hard, because she is teething and just wanted to touch everything and put it into her mouth. She was a little cranky too. We got some good shots though. Enjoy~!

Lacey is just days shy of six months and I cannot believe it! She is sitting up now. Can roll from tummy to back, but not the other way around. She somewhat likes apple juice and loves to say "DADADADADADADA!"

Zoo!

So, Adam starts a new job on Monday, so I thought that we should do something fun over the weekend. We decided to go to the zoo! It was Lacey's first trip to the zoo and I have never heard her "talk" so much. She made noise the whole time. Lacey loves being outside and enjoying the trees. She loves trees! I hope to take her to the zoo many times, so she can learn to love animals as much as I do. I cannot believe that she is almost 5 months old. Time flies by so fast. She is starting to change almost everyday. I just looked at some pictures of her from a month ago and she already looks like a different baby. Being a mother is the best gift in the world and I thank Heavenly father each day to have Lacey in my life. Here are some zoo pictures of her.

Bumbo Chair

So.. I am a reallybad journal writer, which transfers to by horrible blogging skills. Update... Here is Lacey. She is one week shy of 5 months old. We love the BUMBO chair. It helps her sit up and she loves feeling like a big kid. She is growing up so fast.

I am truly blessed to have such a beautiful, well behaved daughter. She hardly cries, sleeps through the night and wakes up every morning with the biggest smile. She loves seeing us in the morning.

We are working on rolling over.. but she has done it once and won't again. Crawling is probably not going to happen any time soon, but sitting up is close by.

Being a working mother presents a lot of challenges, but everyday when I pick her up and see he smile when she sees me, my heart melts. Adam and I are so in love with ther and we thank our Heavenly father each day for this blessing in our life. Who knew someone so small could run your life? Who knew that someone so small could be loved so much? Her smile is a gift from God each time we see it. We are blessed.

Lovin' Life

So, I went back to work last week. I have to say that I have a great boss who allows me to work some hours from home, so I get to spend more time with Lacey. The first day was kind of tough, but I am used to the routine now and I think Lacey is too. It is so great to see her smiling face each day when I pick her up. I get double satisfaction... Making money for the family and spending time with my girl. How can you look at this face and not be in love?....

Lacey is now 3 Months!

Being parents is so wonderful! We are loving each second of it and we are totally in love with Lacey. We have learned so much from her, but most importantly we have learned patience and the true meaning of innocence. Lacey is the greatest baby. She sleeps through the night in her own crib and she is just always happy. She makes everyday worth waking up for! So in love!
