6 Months!

Lacey is officially half a year! She is grown so much and time has just flown by. Taking the pictures was really hard, because she is teething and just wanted to touch everything and put it into her mouth. She was a little cranky too. We got some good shots though. Enjoy~!

I did a photoshoot and I must say, the subject of the pictures is quite a BEAUTY!

Lacey is just days shy of six months and I cannot believe it! She is sitting up now. Can roll from tummy to back, but not the other way around. She somewhat likes apple juice and loves to say "DADADADADADADA!"

The world must look so large to her
Yet she looks so small to me
Each day is full of learning
Just from what she can see

With each new life experience
There comes a sense of joy
Her hands, her feet, her blankets
Everything’s a new toy

She expresses her love to me
Without the ability to say it so
Her smile tells me she is happy
Each day my love for her grows

I cannot express in words
How it feels to be her mother
Each coo, each cry, each squeak
Is an experience, like no other

I only want the best for her
For all her dreams to come true
I want her to feel how much I support her
In everything she chooses to do

Being a mother to this angel
Is a gift beyond compare
She brings so much joy to my life
A new happiness to which I was unaware

Zoo!

So, Adam starts a new job on Monday, so I thought that we should do something fun over the weekend. We decided to go to the zoo! It was Lacey's first trip to the zoo and I have never heard her "talk" so much. She made noise the whole time. Lacey loves being outside and enjoying the trees. She loves trees! I hope to take her to the zoo many times, so she can learn to love animals as much as I do. I cannot believe that she is almost 5 months old. Time flies by so fast. She is starting to change almost everyday. I just looked at some pictures of her from a month ago and she already looks like a different baby. Being a mother is the best gift in the world and I thank Heavenly father each day to have Lacey in my life. Here are some zoo pictures of her.
